Perennially stylish “It Girl”Alexa Chung hits the Burberry Prorsum AW 2011 at the London Fashion Week, in Kensington Gardens recently. Garbed in an all-black ensemble with only a miniscule pop of color in the form of a saddle bag from the British brand itself, no less.

We’ve featured saddle bags here before but we haven’t quite seen one in such a color. At first, I found it hard to believe that it was from Burberry but after some ardent investigation, it was indeed from Burberry’s Spring 2011 collection.

As seen in style.com.

It also comes in lime green.
Such yummy Spring confections, aren’t they? I found them over at Neiman’s selling for $1195.
Burberry Patent Crossbody Bag, $1195
This cross body is in bright patent leather but in a classic, vintage shape that is saddle. It’s something a little different from the plaid-infused handbags that this British brand likes to churn out. It’s very Spring and refreshing that even Alexa Chung’s dreary head-to-toe look was given a nice dose of sunshine.
