I was intrigued by the lady on David Schwimmer’s arm at the Public Theater Gala Celebration early this week. Sure, a lot of A-list stars were there. Kate Walsh, Naomi Watts, Lucy Liu to name a few.

It was Zoe Buckman, Davd Schwimmer’s girlfriend however who caught my fancy. I like her look from head to toe! It was a brilliant mix of androgyny and femininity. Her navy menswear-inspired pants were balanced off by the sweet lacy top. The nude pumps was a wise choice and the classic Dior vintage clutch was divine!

Vintage Dior clutches are hard to find nowadays. You’d be lucky to find some in vintage stores or on Ebay but its very very rare. Still, Zoe’s look is inspiring and merits a how-to portion, nontheless.

Wear a lace top like this from Free People, $128 with a slouchy pleated pair of pants from Vince, $195. Textured pumps from Loeffler Randall, $237.50 will add a nice element of surprise and the fold over clutch from Diane Von Furstenberg, $410 will pull the whole look together.

Halle Berry is a Belle in Cleobella

Remember when I blogged about the come back of bucket bags before? Apparently Halle Berry is smitten by it too along with other celebrities! She was spotted several times toting this beautifully crafted bucket handbag from Miami to L.A. to New York!

Versatility was the name of the game when it comes to Halle’s Cleobella Kaya bucket handbag. She used it as a beach tote, a mommy carry-all, and an everyday go-to bag.

The first time I saw her carrying this, I wasn’t really impressed. But then, the more she uses it, the more it grows on me. Hence my search for the now “coveted” bucket tote.

In my search I learned about the brand and its commitment to impeccable craftsmanship and support of Balinese local artisans. It’s also a plus to know that they only use recycled, organic, and free range leather. All the more I want a Cleobella bag now!

I also discovered that Halle’s Kaya bucket will only be available in Shopbop this coming June 30 and it will retail for $528! Not bad, if you ask me.

If you love vintage handbags, then you must love Chanel. Chanel handbags are the perfect epitome of classics that will go vintage without ever losing its charm and chicness. It is just on different level.

I wrote about the Alexander Wang Rocco Duffel being the arm candy of fashion forward celebrities here before. Since then, I have heard not so good reviews about it from people who have actually purchased the bag. I wanted to buy the bag myself but when I got a hold of it, it was just too heavy!

Apparently it wasn’t just me who got put off by the weight of the bag. A lot of other people too. Hence I wondered, is it worth to sacrifice comfort for style after seeing Kate Bosworth’s Rocco Duffel in gorgeous grey?

Seen lunching with boyfriend, Alexander Skarsgard last June 3, Thursday, was the ever so chic Kate B. garbed in a rather simple ensemble. What gave her outfit a lift was the Alexander Wang Rocco she was toting. It just looks so casual yet so chic. The pebbled leather looks so lusciously luxurious; the studs, edgy; and the duffel shape, vintagey.

If only the weight wasn’t a issue.That is, for me. But if you are in love with this beauty and doesn’t lug around stuff as much as I would, then think no more. This Alex Wang creation is a good buy.
