Victoria’s Secret Angels Miranda Kerr and Lily Aldridge Loves Their Celine Luggage Bag

Victoria’s Secret Angels Miranda Kerr and Lily Aldridge were separately spotted out and about in New York.

Notice anything similar in their outfits other than they are both wearing sunnies? It’s their Celine totes! I knew the Celine Micro Luggage bag is famous but I didn’t know these Victoria’s Secret Angels are fans of it (although I noticed how much of a fan Miranda Kerr is when it comes to Celine bags).

Their Celine bags are slightly different. Miranda has the sleek, glossy leather handbag while Lily toted the one with animal-skin embossed leather. Both looked ridiculously chic.

I’m having a hard time finding the exact Celine bags they toted but if you are looking for similar finds, here they are:

1. A Lovely Thyme Bag, $37.99, ModCloth

Doesn’t this look like the Celine Micro Luggage bag? If only it has the same color. But if you want something very similar to the ones the Angels wore, this should be a good option.

2. Marilyn Foldover Tote, $238.00, Harveys

This too has the same silhouette as the Celine bag. But rather than sleek leather, you’ll be getting a bag made from seatbelt materials! Yes, seatbelt materials.

3. Wes Mab Mini, $525.00, Rebecca Minkoff

You can also try getting this bag. Boasting of a similar silhouette but a more convertible one, you can dress up in the style of Miranda Kerr or Lily Aldridge.

4. The Ziplocker Lo Satchel, $528.00, Marc by Marc Jacobs

This bag has the same zip detail as the Celine bag.

Obsessed With Polka Dots? Check Out The Brahmin Polka Dot Satchel!

It is no secret that I am in love with polka dot print. Heck, I’m a vintage lover. Being obsessed with anything polka is customary.

This is why when I saw the Brahmin “Olivia Rose” Polka Dot Satchel, I have to stop myself from swooning right there and then!

Olivia Rose Polka Dot Satchel, $365.00, Brahmin

For decades now, Brahmin has been pushing its way to the top, spearheaded by Joan and Bill Martin. Just a tiny bit of history, the word “Brahmin” was coined in the 1800s and was often used to describe people belonging to the high class society. The who’s who back in those days were called “Brahmins”. That goes without saying that the main demographic of this company is the upper class.

It looks like they are also going back to their vintage roots. The polka dot print of this bag is not the only notable vintage style in it. The over-all silhouette and the classic crossbody style are dead giveaways.

It also offers gusseted sides, which pretty much tells you this bag can hold a lot of your stuff even if it looks tiny in these pictures.

And check out its adorable dangling rose leather detail!

I love the black and white color combo (which is called Black Luna) but if you want something more feminine, the Pink Luna version is a good choice.

So, did this polka dot satchel satisfy your vintage lust?

Take A Pick From These Prismatic Proenza Schouler Satchels!

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the two geniuses behind the famous fledgling New York-based company Proenza Schouler, decided that they should have an array of prismatic bags to target stylish consumers itching to add color to their wardrobe.

And from the looks of their PS1 satchel bags, they did a spectacular job. I, for one, is in a quandary as to what  color to choose. Can you help me out?

1. PS1 Tote Suede, $1995, Proenza Schouler

Should I get it in this citrusy neon yellow color that made me think about lemonades in the middle of summer?

2. PS1 Tote Suede, $1995, Proenza Schouler

What about the same style in Tropical Green color? I can imagine myself using this for travels to tropical islands.

3. PS1 Medium Leather, $1695, Proenza Schouler

How about this satchel in vivid orange color that would make a frequent reminder of beautiful sunsets?

4. PS1 Large Leather Satchel, $1995, Proenza Schouler

Or perhaps take this bag in a color described as lipstick? That has a girly touch to it, don’t you think?

5. PS1 Medium Leather Satchel, $1695, Proenza Schouler

How about a calming shade of blue named as Lagoon? Why are all these bags making me think of vacations?

6. PS1 Medium Leather, $1695, Proenza Schouler

Why wait for harvest season when you can have raspberries all year round? Uh, as a bag, that is.

So, which color is the best one to pick? What about you? What would you pick?
